The HiFiMan HE6se V2 FIR filterset pack contains two separate high-resolution FIR eq filtersets:
FilterSet 1 = neutral
FilterSet 2 = neutral plus treble extension
Each filterset contains filters with sample rates from 44.1 kHz to 352.8 kHz and is packaged as a .zip file that can be used in most convolvers, like Hang Loose Convolver or Roon for example. Mono 352.8 kHz mono filters are also included for HQPlayer.

Frequency Response Measurement & Correction
The HiFiMan HE6se V2 headphones measure reasonably flat through the midrange. The bass starts to roll-off at 100 Hz and is down -4 dB at 20 Hz. There is a dip in the response from 1.3 kHz to 2.6 kHz which recesses the lead vocals and instruments. But there is a large peak between 3.5 kHz to 5.5 kHz making the headphones sound exceedingly bright and thin sounding out of the box.
Engaging the high-resolution convolution FIR filter provides a flat response from 20 Hz to 5 kHz +- 1dB. Smooth response with good bass impact plus a smooth top end really shows what the HE6se is capable of. Two filtersets are provided that are identical except one has 1 dB more high frequency response. This allows you to choose how much high frequency energy is arriving at your ears.

I was reaching for these less and less over the last several months due to the issues with their tonality, but this filter set has made them sound way more neutral and very enjoyable again. I prefer the second variety of the the filters, with the touch more top end, but the first variety is nice if you want a touch warmer sound.
